WHAT IS RF MICRONEEDLING FACIAL LIFTING & TIGHTENING?
Similar to the popular Morpheus 8, RF Microneedling is a fractional radiofrequency micro-needling (MRF) system designed to stimulate and remodel collagen, along with addressing the common signs of ageing.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MORPHEUS 8 & RF MICRONEEDLING?
Both the Morpheus 8 and our RF microneedling devices use fractional radiofrequency micro-needling technology. It’s revolutionary in that micro-needling and radiofrequency technology are both combined. In this way, optimal results can be achieved in terms of rejuvenation and plumping of the skin.
Ultra-thin gold-tipped needles on both devices are used to release radiofrequency energy into the skin cells. This controlled penetration of the cells provides a healing response in the body, which releases collagen and elastin and in the case of RF microneedling also hyaluronic acid. Besides the gold-tipped needles, RF Microneedling uses suction to trigger the underlying dermal layers. The radiofrequency energy, on the other hand, generates heat. This in turn causes the skin to tighten which then delivers the results of youthful and smooth-looking skin.
There is no significant post-treatment downtime with either device - in some cases, side effects such as swelling and redness may occur in the first few days. We have tested both Morpheus 8 and RF Microneedling on ourselves and found the RF Microneedling treatment much more comfortable due to the latest-technology motor combined with the built-in suction. We also found that we had more control over the settings and hence more control over the trauma caused to the skin.
